New 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X power figures to bump up to 340 hp

For 2015, Mitsubishi has announced that its Lancer Evolution X will receive even more power. Japanese car maker has announced the power output figures for its performance oriented Lancer Evolution X sedan. In terms of looks, the front fascia receives a new front grille with red borders. The wheels are 18-inch units BBS forged wheels.
While the previous generation Lancer Evolution X produced 276 hp, the new model is claimed to produce 340 hp of power and 365.7 Nm of torque from its 2-litre DOHC, 16-valve intercooled engine. The engine comes mated to a dual-clutch transmission. Power can be sent to the wheels in three modes: Normal, Sport and Super Sport.

Mitsubishi has loaded the new 2015 Lancer Evolution X with all the modern safety net. The 2015 model will receive seven airbags, stability and traction control, active center differential, lateral acceleration control and anti-lock braking system (ABS) brakes with electronic brake distribution (EBD). Other features include Bilstein shock absorbers and Eibach springs, Brembo brakes, Recaro front seats with leather, bi-xenon, automatic air conditioning and multimedia system with GPS, Bluetooh, DVD and CD browser. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X is signed by British engineer John Easton, who is responsible for developing multiple versions of the Lancer.
